The frame itself has the following Latin Inscription: 'Mes.re Rene de Longveil, Marquis de Maisons Ministre de Stat et President au Parlem.' At the bottom of the frame, there is a coat of arms. The coat of arms is made up of a shield and several other features. The top part of the shield has 3 flowers laid out in a horizontal pattern while the center has 3 flowers laid out in an upside down triangle formation. On each side of the shield, there are two eagles with their wings raised over the shield . Above the shield, there is a crown and several other elegant designs. At the bottom left of the print can be seen the artist's name and date.
