Sketchbook Folio, Five Heads, After the Antique

This is a Sketchbook folio. It was designed by Felice Giani. It is dated 1810–20 and we acquired it in 1901. Its medium is pen and brown ink, brush and dark brown wash over traces of black chalk on white laid paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of various donors.

Its dimensions are

21.8 x 15.2 cm (8 9/16 x 6 in.)

It is inscribed

in pen and brown ink at lower margin: 30 monu antichi Parigi
