Fragment (Peru)

This is a Fragment. It is dated 18th–19th century and we acquired it in 1902. Its medium is wool and its technique is 1) complementary warps in plain weave with inner wefts; 2) warp-faced plain weave; warp selvage at one end; sides are cut. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by John Pierpont Morgan. It is credited Gift of John Pierpont Morgan.
