This is a spoon. It is dated late 19th century and we acquired it in 1926. Its medium is silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was bequest of Mrs. John Innes Kane. It is credited Bequest of Mrs. John Innes Kane.

Its dimensions are

L x W x D: 21 x 7.9 x 4.2 cm (8 1/4 x 3 1/8 x 1 5/8 in.)

It has the following markings

On reverse of stem: "CHRISTOFLE", worn; worn maker's mark in a lozenge.

It is inscribed

On reverse of terminal: engraved with ornate initials
