Salesman's Samples (France)

This is a Salesman's samples. It is dated ca. 1770 and we acquired it in 1928. Its medium is silk and its technique is chain stitch on satin weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Sarah Cooper Hewitt and Eleanor Garnier Hewitt. It is credited Gift of Eleanor and Sarah Hewitt.
