Cap Crown (USA)

This is a Cap crown. It is dated ca. 1820 and we acquired it in 1931. Its technique is needlework on net. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Sarah Cooper Hewitt and Eleanor Garnier Hewitt. It is credited Gift of Eleanor and Sarah Hewitt, from the textile collection of Mrs. Abram Stevens Hewitt.
