This is a Cup and saucer. It was probably Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory and decorated by Vieillard. It is dated 1781 and we acquired it in 1936. Its medium is glazed and gilt porcelain. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by George B. McClellan and Georgiana L. McClellan. It is credited Gift of George B. and Georgiana L. McClellan.

Its dimensions are

H x W (a: cup): 6.5 x 9 cm (2 9/16 x 3 9/16 in.) H x diam. (b: saucer): 3 x 14 cm (1 3/16 x 5 1/2 in.)

On base of both (a,b), in blue: crowned diamond shape over crowned "DD"
