Two different, paralel designs for woven shawls, one on the left side, the other on the right, delicately drawn and painted in guache using small dots resembling stippling on a base of brown, mottled paper. The left design is multi-colored with a delicate patterns of vines, flowers and tear drop shapes in jewel tones of gold, ruby emerald and sapphire, swirling and independant of each other. On the right is an all-yellow stippled design of arabesque scrolls, leaves and vines with fanciful scrolled-leaf flowers in an overall abstract pattern. The oiled paper shows signs of wear and creasing, and is mounted to white paper.
