Fragment

This is a Fragment. It is dated 4th–5th century and we acquired it in 1921. Its medium is s-spun undyed linen warp, s-spun undyed wool and s-spun black wool weft and its technique is slit and dovetail tapestry weave with soumak and embroidered details. It is a part of the Textiles department.
