Tsuba

This is a Tsuba. It was made by Iwamoto Konkwan. It is dated 18th century and we acquired it in 1936. Its medium is shakudo (alloy of copper and gold), nanako (surface texture of tiny knobs), takazogan (relief inlay). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was bequest of George Cameron Stone. It is credited Bequest of George Cameron Stone.
