This is a Drawing. It was architect: Giuseppe Barberi. It is dated early 19th century and we acquired it in 1938. Its medium is black chalk on paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

The tablescape is a concept developed in the late-16th and 17th-century Italian states and soon followed in France. Guiseppe Barberi chose the classical columns and elements favored in the Napoleonic era.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of various donors and from Eleanor G. Hewitt Fund.

Its dimensions are

25.2 x 42.2 cm (9 15/16 x 16 5/8 in.) Mat: 55.9 × 71.1 cm (22 × 28 in.)
