This is a Bourdalou. It was possibly by Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory. It is dated possibly 1767 and we acquired it in 1967. Its medium is enameled and gilt porcelain. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Maxime Hermanos and Mrs. Maxime Hermanos. It is credited Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Maxime Hermanos.

Its dimensions are

10.5 x 22.3 x 10.2 cm (4 1/8 x 8 3/4 x 4 in. )

It has the following markings

On unglazed base: intertwined "L"s, "o" in center, "PR" underneath (in blue); incised "JM" and "IF;" torn blue and white label.
