This is a Blanket (kaasa). It was woven by Fulani people. It is dated early 20th century and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is hand-spun wool, cotton and its technique is hand-loomed weft-faced plain weave with supplementary weft patterning. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Calvin W. Stillman. It is credited Gift of Mrs Calvin W. Stillman.
