Sample Card (USA)

This is a Sample card. It was designed by Dorothy Wright Liebes and woven by Dorothy Wright Liebes. It is dated ca. 1946 and we acquired it in 1972. Its medium is cellulose triacetate, cotton, viscose rayon, silk, silk-viscose rayon blend, cellulose acetate butyrate-laminated aluminum yarn and its technique is plain weave with combined warps and combined wefts; bands caused by changing the "a" and "b" plain weave shed sequence. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin. It is credited Gift of the Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin.
