Sidewall, Windsor Castle

This is a sidewall. It was made by Arthur Sanderson & Sons, Ltd.. It is dated 1912–39 and we acquired it in 1973. Its medium is machine printed on paper. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

Romantic landscape view of Windsor Castle seen through a canopy of trees, with a pair of birds perched beside a quite stream, surrounded by accents of red flowers. With its historical interest and watercolor-like landscape this design remained popular in England and the USA for many years.
