Textile

This is a Textile . It is dated late 17th–early 18th century and we acquired it in 1976. Its medium is silk, metallic yarns and its technique is damask weave fragment with 5-harness satin, discontinuous supplementary weft patterning (brocade) bound on front in ¼ twill. It is a part of the Textiles department.
