Textile

This is a Textile. It is dated early 18th–late 18th century and we acquired it in 1978. Its medium is silk and its technique is plain weave with discontinuous supplementary warp patterning (brocade). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Howard J. Sachs and Peter G. Sachs. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Howard J. Sachs and Mr. Peter G. Sachs in memory of Miss Edith L. Sachs.
