Each photograph shows six different people with varying facial expressions, photographed from the shoulders up. The top left figure has long hair with their mouth open with their eyes slightly downward. The top center figure also has long hair, mouth closed, eyes gazing at the camera. The figure on the top right has short hair, head pulled back, forehead wrinkled from expression, face contorted in an open-mouthed frown with wide, open eyes, teeth visible. Bottom left figure has pulled back hair and is gazing directly at the camera with closed mouth, as is the bottom center person too. The bottom right individual has a short haircut with both eyes and mouth closed. Underneath the six photos reads a caption, 'However, many emotions impact our faces in culturally specific ways.'
