By the end of the 1920s, Jean Puiforcat's spherical pots set the stage for this form to dominate domestic design products for a broad market.

Maker's mark, hallmark on side near lip. Maker's mark, hallmark o tubular handle. Handle inscribed "Jean E. Puiforcat" and at bottom "Made in France." Hallmark overstruck on body.
