Tent Panel (India)

This is a Tent panel. It is dated 1650–1700 and we acquired it in 1952. Its medium is cotton and its technique is mordant painted and dyed (chintz) on tabby weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

It is credited Museum purchase from Au Panier Fleuri Fund.
