Table Mat

This is a Table mat. It is dated late 19th century and we acquired it in 1953. Its medium is silk embroidery on linen foundation and its technique is embroidered using stem, satin, padded satin,and padded buttonhole stitches on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Ruth Van Norman.
