Cup and Saucer with Battle Scenes ("Bataillen-Malerei") Cup And Saucer

This is a Cup and saucer. It was manufactured by Royal Porcelain Manufactory, Berlin and model maker: Freidrich Elias Meyer. It is dated ca. 1760 and we acquired it in 1953. Its medium is hard paste porcelain, vitreous enamel, gold . It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was bequest of Georgiana L. McClellan. It is credited Bequest of Georgiana L. McClellan.

Its dimensions are

H x W x D (a: cup): 5.4 × 10 × 8 cm (2 1/8 × 3 15/16 × 3 1/8 in.) H x diam. (b: saucer): 3.3 × 13.4 cm (1 5/16 × 5 1/4 in.)
