Kimono Length (Japan)

This is a Kimono length. It is dated late 19th–early 20th century and we acquired it in 1956. Its medium is agave fiber (from taiwan) and its technique is warp tie-dyed before weaving (ikat), plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
