Huipil (Guatemala)

This is a Huipil. It is dated ca. 1925 and we acquired it in 1959. Its medium is cotton, wool, rayon and its technique is warp-faced plain weave with supplementary discontinuous weft patterning. It is a part of the Textiles department.
