Footed Salver

It was made by Anthony Nelme. It is dated 1695–1696 and we acquired it in 1958. Its medium is silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It has the following markings

On underside of tray: [1] (date mark) [2] lion passant; [3] crowned leopard's head (assay mark); [4] "ANe" (maker's mark for Anthony Nelme) ?
