Couture Embroidery Sample (USA)

This is a Couture embroidery sample. It was made by Madame Sabo, Inc. (New York, NY, USA). It is dated 1960 and we acquired it in 1960. Its medium is cotton ground; silk, wool, metallic thread, glass and metal beads and its technique is embroidered. It is a part of the Textiles department.



In this unfinished design, a variety of different embroidery techniques, metallic threads, and beads are used to build complexity and volume.
