A black bulbous vase with a small neck depicts a flock of white cranes flying around the top and center of the vase. The bottom of the vase has a footed pedestal that is edged with a decorative band of gold scalloping. A matching band of gold scalloping accents the neck of the vase.The head and body of the cranes are painted gray. Their white wings with feathering detail are spread open as they flock around the vase. The tops of their heads are spotted with red.
