This is a vase. It was manufactured by Rookwood Pottery and decorated by W. E. Hentschel. It is dated 1921 and we acquired it in 1966. Its medium is glazed earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Miss Ruth Friedman. It is credited Gift of Ruth Friedman in memory of Harry G. Friedman.

It has the following markings

Impressed on base: Rookwood cipher with 14 flames over "XXI; 369E; incised + ; painted underglas on base: "W E H"
