Drawing, Design for a Candlestick

This is a Drawing. It was designed by Michelangelo Buonarroti. It is dated 1520–30 and we acquired it in 1942. Its medium is black chalk, brush and brown wash, incised lines and compass points on cream laid paper, lined. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.
