Map Sampler, A Map of England and Wales

This is a Map sampler. It was embroidered by H. Havens. It is dated late 18th century and we acquired it in 1941. Its medium is silk and its technique is embroidered in satin, stem and split stitches on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
