Vase (Germany)

This is a vase. It was manufactured by Elsterwerda. It is dated 1920–40 and we acquired it in 1996. Its medium is glazed earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Victor Wiener. It is credited Gift of Victor Wiener.

It has the following markings

On bottom of vase, a faint red circle overshadowed by a black circle both stating "Made in Germany". Incised "205/10" above a plain shield. Also, in brown, scratchy lettering stating "581SE(?)" and "V".
