Pair Of Earrings (USA)

This is a pair of earrings. It was made by Tiffany & Co.. It is dated ca. 1960 and we acquired it in 1995. Its medium is gold, cut rubies. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

A single gold cord traces the paisley shape of these earrings. By describing the paisley in a simple linear form, all floral origins are stripped away and the motif becomes decorative scrollwork.
