Fragments, Les Lois de Lycurgue

This is a Fragments. It was engraved by Cholet and produced by Favre Petitpierre. It is dated ca. 1825 and we acquired it in 1995. Its medium is cotton and its technique is printed by engraved plate on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

On tablet (seen on B) " CHOLET sculpsit A Nantes' in the midst of what is meant to look like Greek letters.
