Sampler (England)

This is a Sampler. It was made by Elizabeth Saggar. It is dated 1734 and we acquired it in 2003. Its medium is linen, silk and its technique is embroidery in cross, eyelet, and satin stitch with some looping stitches and detached needle looping. It is a part of the Textiles department.
