Sidewall, Alice in Wonderland, 1968

This is a sidewall. It was designed by John Rombola and manufactured by Piazza Prints Inc.. It is dated 1968 and we acquired it in 1998. Its medium is screen-printed vinyl. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

While the tale of Alice in Wonderland goes back many years, this design is definitely a product of the late 1960s. While the design includes many of the favorite characters including Alice, Mad Hatter, the caterpillar and the Cheshire cat, all have been reimagined with bold new treatments and are printed in vivid shades on a glossy white ground.
