Sampler (USA)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Esther Ann Frost. It is dated ca. 1800 and we acquired it in 2008. Its medium is silk embroidery on linen warp, cotton weft and its technique is embroidered on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Myra Mathers and William H. Mathers. It is credited Gift of Myra M. and William H. Mathers.
