Pleated Fan

This is a Pleated fan. It is dated ca. 1830 and we acquired it in 1943. Its medium is gilded paper leaf with hand-colored lithograph, pierced ivory sticks with spangles and mother-of-pearl plaques. It is a part of the Textiles department.
