Livery Band (Spain)

This is a Livery band. It is dated early 19th century and we acquired it in 1943. Its medium is silk and its technique is supplementary warp pile (velvet). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Robert Woods Bliss. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Robert Woods Bliss, Dumbarton Oaks Collection.
