Reproduction Textile

This is a Reproduction textile. It was designed by Scalamandré and manufactured by Scalamandré. It is dated 1935–1940 and we acquired it in 1944. Its medium is silk and its technique is 5-harness satin patterned by weft floats and a continuous supplementary weft bound on the front in 1/3 twill by a supplementary warp. It is a part of the Textiles department.
