Panel (England)

This is a Panel. It is dated early 18th century and we acquired it in 1948. Its medium is linen, cotton, wool and its technique is crewel wool embroidery on 1\2 twill weave using stem, herringbone, satin, bullion and chain stitches. It is a part of the Textiles department.
