Vase

This is a vase. It was designed by Viktor (Vicke) Emanuel Lindstrand and manufactured by Orrefors Glassworks. It is dated ca. 1940 and we acquired it in 1981. Its medium is blown and acid etched glass . It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Jefferson Patterson. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Jefferson Patterson.

Ten square shaped translucent pillared glass vases in various sizes and colors. At the front are six glass vases. On the far left is a dark rose vase of medium height but wide opening, besides it are two similar slendar pillars, one clear glass the other dark gray. To their right are three small vases, one clear and the other two amber. Behind these vases are four larger vases in cascading height from left to right. The two on the left are large sized glass vases, one clear glass and on its right dark amber, a shorter dark green and lastly a dark rose quartz vase.
