Sampler (Argentina)

This is a Sampler. It is dated ca. 1940 and we acquired it in 1981. Its medium is cotton and its technique is embroidered in cross, half-cross, and running stitches on a foundation with paired and unpaired warps in plain weave structure with alternately skipped binding points. It is a part of the Textiles department.
