"Atlanta" Knife

This is a knife. It was designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld and made by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF). It is dated ca. 1955 and we acquired it in 1986. Its medium is silver, stainless steel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

On handle below ferrule: German mark: a crown and moon for fineness of .800 or more, WMF, 925. On blade: WMF, "Triodur", 2 entwined stick figures.
