Cigarette Holder And Lid

This is a Cigarette holder and lid. It was manufactured by Chase Brass & Copper Co.. It is dated 1930–40 and we acquired it in 1991. Its medium is polished nickel, enamel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

18K cigarette holder with spiral engraving on the third nearest the cigarette hole. There are a few small round diamonds set into the area of the spiraling. The remainder of the holder is fashioned with gold links which end at a tortoise shell mouth piece.
