Covered Écuelle with Apple-Shaped Finial écuelle

This is a écuelle. It was manufactured by Carl Thieme Saxonian Porcelain Company and Samson in the style of Frankenthal. It is dated 1872–1888 and we acquired it in 1992. Its medium is porcelain, vitreous enamel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Wendy Vanderbilt Lehman. It is credited Gift of Wendy Vanderbilt Lehman.
