Book, Black and White

This is a Book. It was designed by Elaine Lustig Cohen and made for (as the client) The Jewish Museum. It is dated 1963 and we acquired it in 1993. Its medium is offset lithograph on paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

Set of square shaped cufflinks with concentric square pattern, where the four squares alternate black and white. The white squares are thicker than the black ones. The cufflink protrudes out in a pyramidal shape, but is cut off before it reaches a tip. The three studs are the same shape, and their design is an upside down white block T on a black background. The packaging is a close up sketch of a white tuxedo shirt with bowtie, with the sleeves lifted to the center. The studs and cufflinks are positioned on the packaging where they would be on the shirt. It rests within a square black box.
