Silver tea kettle with four point base and large handle. Pointy leaves decorate the piece throughout, including small patches at each corner of the base, the point when the kettle meets the base up to its center, on the pouring hole, and at the bottom of the handle. The lid to the kettle appears to be a flower that is still a bud.

Chrysanthemum Tea Set

This is a tea set. It was manufactured by Tiffany and Co.. It is dated 1891–1902. Its medium is silver, ivory. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Gift of Mrs. Roswell Miller.

A six piece silver tea set of repeating relief design of butterflies, flowers, leaves and berries. The standing tea pot stands center back and has a designed overhead handle with an open space for a warmer burner. Two other tea pots on the left and right have side handles, while the left is short and squat and a short spout and the right is taller with a larger spout. In the front are three containers, two open. On the left is a milk container, open with a small spout and handle and on the right a closed lid sugar container with handles on both sides. The front open center piece has no lid and a noticeable gold plated interior.

An oval-shaped silver tray with a deep floral relief bordering the rim. The tray sits horizontal. The bordering relief is ornately carved with lions and pairs of lionesses in scrolling grapevines with leaves and grapes.The silver in the border is slightly tarnished. The plate part of the tray is smooth polished silver. In the center of the tray are engraved the following words in decorative cursive: “PRESENTED TO/ ROSWELL MILLER/ BY THE/ CHICAGO. MILWAUKEE & ST PAUL/ RAILWAY COMPANY/ NOVEMBER 16TH 1893

A tangled cascade of silver flower and leaf shapes falls from a bare light bulb, which is almost concealed by the foliage. Black and white flowers and leaves accent the mass of strands. The metal shapes are clumped in a thicket at the top of the form before thinning out at the bottom, showing the silhouettes of the flowers and leaves.
