This is the artist's first visual translation of "The Star Spangled Banner" by John Stafford Smith and Francis Scott Key. It has 32 measures, is in the Key of C, and arranged for three lines of music with voice and piano. The third, fourth, twenty-ninth, and thirtieth measures are placed separately above the corresponding words of the lyrics.
