Textile Sample (USA)

This is a Textile sample. It was designed by Marianne Strengell and woven by Marianne Strengell. It is dated 1937–61 and we acquired it in 1984. Its medium is cotton, wool, lurex and its technique is plain weave shed (then black chenille weft) alternate with a 3/1 shed (heavy chenille weft). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Marianne Strengell. It is credited Gift of Marianne Strengell.
