This is a roughly conical-shaped, dark brown traveling container for cutlery. It consists of a conical container and a slightly rounded rectangular lid. On the lid, on the front-facing side, is what appears to be heraldic imagery framed on the top and sides by foliated motifs. Near the top of this group is an oval roundel surrounded by laurel wreaths. The crest in the center seems worn and is no longer legible. Just below is an unfurled scroll with text, which has also been worn to the point of illegibility. Finally, below this scroll is the image of a heraldic lion. It stands on its hind legs and stretches out horizontally, as if leaping. Below, on the front of the container is a central column of twisting laurel motifs that come to a point about halfway down the container. On either side of this central column are bands of foliated motifs that increasingly diminish in size, until coming to a point at the tip of the container. A worn red string is attached to the back of the container and lid.
